This week’s picture was taken at the canoe launch located just below the Falls Dam along the Neuse River in North Raleigh. Paddle Creek, a canoe rental and retailer is located just up the road from the launch, but has plans to move to a location on Capital Boulevard in anticipation of the Falls of Neuse Road widening project.

That’s neat Kerry. I need to look into this, but I heard a rumor that Paddle Creek just moved to a new location on October 1st. Somewhere on Capital Boulevard I think. I beleive the move is related to the Falls of Neuse Road widening project going on by their old location.
yep, they moved to Cap Blvd due to all the changes on FoN. I havent stopped by the new spot yet.
Kerry- Cool, I need to stop by and check them out. I’ve always wanted to canoe down the Neuse in the Fall.
