New Belgium’s “Tour De Fat”
On Saturday June 23, 2012 the New Belgium Brewery’s “Tour de Fat” returns to the Diamond View Park at the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham. This is a family friendly event that includes a costumed bike parade, live music, and sideshow entertainment acts. Of cpurse, there will be plenty of beer for sale too! The New Belgium’s website describes the Tour de Fat as a“thrilling rite of passage that includes an unparalleled costumed bicycle parade, New Belgium beer, eccentric entertainment, local food, unusual bike contests and much more.”

3:00 PM – Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds
The event is free to enter, but bring cash for beer and food. Proceeds benefit Triangle-area charities that promote bicycling.
