Beericana Craft Beer Festival Returns to Holly Springs Saturday October 12th!

Do you like craft beer and food trucks? Well, mark your calendars because the Beericana craft beer & music festival returns to Holly Springs Saturday, October 12th. This year’s event, organized by 919 Beer, will feature 70+ breweries from across North Carolina and beyond, 15 food trucks, and 3 live bands. Entry to the festival gets you unlimited tastings from the breweries. Food is available for purchase from the many food trucks. You can view a map of the festival with the list of breweries and food trucks here.

Beericana is my favorite craft beer festival because it is run by people who have A LOT of experience putting these types of events on. It is a popular event but the crowd is very manageable and the setting, a large field, provides ample space for navigating the festival. In addition to tons of great craft beer, there are tons of food options from the food trucks, and the music lineup is actually fantastic and worth the price of admission alone.

Tickets are $75 for VIP tickets (gives you early access from noon to 2 p.m.) and $45 for general admission from 2 to 6 p.m. There is also a $15 option for music only. You can buy tickets at the gate, but they will be $10 more than advance ticket prices. For a peek at what Beericana was like last year check out the short clip below above.

Please note that no children are allowed at Beericana and a valid photo identification must be presented. Check out the FAQ on the the event website for additional details.

Aladdin, the hit musical based on the Academy Award-winning animated Disney film and centuries-old folktales including “One Thousand and One Nights,” is brought to fresh theatrical life in this bold new musical.  The hit Broadway musical will begin performances at DPAC on Wednesday, October 2 for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through Saturday, October 26, as part of SunTrust Broadway’s 2019 / 2020 season.

Aladdin’s journey sweeps audiences into an exotic world of daring adventure, classic comedy and timeless romance. This new production features a full score, including the five cherished songs from the award-winning soundtrack and more written especially for the stage.

Earlier this week DPAC announced that beginning October 1st at 9:00 AM, a digital rush lottery will take place for Aladdin.  A limited number of $25 seats will be available via an online lottery.  The lottery will happen online only the day prior to each designated performance.  Please Note: Locations vary per performance.  In some cases, seats may be partial view, and while every effort will be made to seat multiple seats together, in most cases multiple seats will be split up and not adjacent to each other.
