FCS Trio Performing at The Oxford Gastropub in Raleigh, NC ~ January 30, 2011
My wife and I took advantage of the beautiful weather this past weekend and made a trip to Downtown Raleigh on Sunday. While there, we decided to pop into The Oxford Gastropub on Fayetteville Street to have a cocktail and enjoy the smooth Jazz sounds of the Fusion Collective South Trio. They perform each Sunday during brunch at The Oxford from around 11am-3pm. The FCS Trio features Michael Pelz-Sherman on keys, Charles Barchuck on drums, and Sean Geist on Upright Bass. Sean Geist also performs with Route 66, a trio consisting of two bassists and a drummer. Route 66 will be performing at Electric Beanz Coffee Bar in Raleigh on Friday 2/18 from 7-9pm. For details about other upcoming gigs visit the FCS Facebook Fanpage.
