Carne Asada Taco
Chronic Tacos first came to the Triangle area last year with the opening of their first East Coast location in Chapel Hill. The same local owner has opened a second Triangle location with the recent opening of a Wake Forest location in the same shopping center as the new Publix. Construction is currently underway at a third planned location in North Raleigh in the Olive Park shopping center (where Sprouts is located).

Chronic is a fast-casual restaurant chain that started out in Southern California back in 2002. The three Triangle locations are the first on the East Coast. The menu includes tacos, burritos, salads and breakfast tacos. All made to order – with counter service.
I stopped by on opening day and had an excellent Carne Asada Taco and look forward to going back to trying their breakfast tacos soon! They also offer beer, sangria, and margaritas and in case you were wondering, the answer is yes – the breakfast tacos are served all day long!
